Welcome To Our new Member : Skittish Google Ads Consultant
I’m Heather Robinson, a freelance Google Ads consultant based in Harrogate. I’ve worked in digital marketing since 2005 and have been running my own business, Skittish, since 2012.
Over the years I’ve worked with businesses of all shapes and sizes, but these days I specialise in Google Ads, helping businesses generate more leads and get a clearer understanding of what they’re getting in return for their advertising spend.
A big part of my work involves taking over Google Ads accounts that aren’t performing as well as they should. Sometimes the campaigns need restructuring, sometimes there’s wasted spend or poor conversion tracking, and sometimes a fresh pair of eyes uncovers opportunities that have been missed. I also work with businesses that are completely new to Google Ads and want to get everything set up and measured properly from the start.
I’m a Google Partner and Chartered Marketer, and earlier this year I spoke at HeroConf in Brighton, a conference dedicated to paid advertising. After more than 20 years working in digital marketing, I still really enjoy the problem-solving side of the job and figuring out why something isn’t working as well as it could.
I’m looking forward to getting to know more of the local business community, build new connections and hopefully find opportunities to support more businesses closer to home.
