The York & North Yorkshire Combined Authority : Export Grant Launch


The York & North Yorkshire Combined Authority have launched their ‘Get Exporting’ grant which forms part of its Business Innovation Fund. Applications are now open until this round closes at 5pm on 30th June.

The application form is here  and the link below will take you to the guidance notes, but to summarise: 

  • The grant is between £3k-10k and will cover 75% of the eligible costs i.e. businesses contribute 25%. Total costs for your project therefore need to be a minimum of £4000.

  • There’s a total indicative budget of £635k and covers revenue items only i.e. no capital equipment / assets will be eligible.

  • Eligible businesses must have been trading in North Yorkshire for a minimum of 12 months and have a physical presence in our region.

  • The businesses must have an existing demonstrable interest in exporting i.e. already talking to DBT/ Local Partners about exporting or already exporting, already have or are in the process of conducting market research.

  • Previous export grant recipients can apply for this grant only if incremental export growth is attainable.

  • They are currently shaping plans for a series of Export Roadshows around North Yorkshire for October and a second round of the grant funding will be launched November 2025. I’m happy to assist with applications or have a chat to discuss.
