New Monthly Healthcare Networking Event Launches in Harrogate

A new monthly networking event aimed at bringing together health and social care professionals from across the Harrogate district has launched, offering a dedicated space for collaboration, knowledge-sharing and community connection.

Connecting Healthcare in Our Community takes place on the fourth Thursday of every month, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm, at The Empress on the Stray, Harrogate. The event is open to a wide range of professionals including domiciliary care providers, registered managers, GPs, occupational therapists, social prescribers, mental health counsellors and other local community services.

Each session features a guest speaker addressing key topics relevant to health and social care, alongside open conversation and collaborative discussion designed to help services strengthen and grow. Harrogate College will also feature regularly, sharing how it can support workforce training and development — including the benefits of taking on apprentices through the college.

"The session will also hear from Joseph Doyle of Andy's Man Club, the national men's mental health charity which runs free weekly peer-to-peer support sessions at Harrogate College every Monday evening, helping men across the district open up, connect and support one another."

Harrogate District Chamber of Commerce is pleased to support and promote this initiative, which reflects the kind of cross-sector collaboration that strengthens our local community. The health and social care sector is one of the most significant employers in our district, and events like this play a vital role in building the connections that help services work better together for residents across Harrogate and beyond.

Tickets are available via Eventbrite. Search Connecting Healthcare in Our Community Harrogate to register your place.
