Harrogate Chamber Members to Feature in "Women Winning" Leadership Panel
Four Chamber members are set to take the stage at an upcoming leadership and networking event titled "The Sky’s the Limit – Breaking Through the Glass Ceiling."
Taking place on Wednesday, 20th May, the session is part of the ongoing Women Winning project. This initiative was originally inspired by the achievements of Harrogate Freeman Sheila Pantin and aims to recognise and celebrate the impact of women across the district. The event focuses on the concept of the "glass ceiling" - a term describing the invisible barriers to professional success - and provides a platform for established leaders to share their knowledge with those aspiring to reach the top of their chosen fields.
The panel features twelve influential female leaders from across the Harrogate district, including Chamber members Jackie Snape (Chief Executive of Disability Action Yorkshire), Liz Cluderay (Artisan), Elaine Stevenson (Harrogate District Community Action - HADCA), and Sharon Canavar (Harrogate International Festivals).
These leaders will join the panel at The Yorkshire Hotel’s Sky Bar to discuss their varied experiences across the business, arts, and voluntary sectors. The discussion will highlight the importance of cross-sector support and mentorship among women in leadership. The event runs from 11am to 2pm and offers a unique opportunity for local professionals to network and gain insights from some of the town's most prominent voices.
Tickets for the event are priced at £25, which includes brunch and refreshments. Those interested in attending can find more information and book their places online via the Women Winning booking page at:https://www.trybooking.com/uk/GBXO
