I’m Sailing on Royal Caribbean’s Brand-New Legend of the Seas!
Royal Caribbean International has officially taken delivery of its newest, most groundbreaking Icon-class ship: Legend of the Seas. Before she officially opens to the public and begins her regular sailings, a select few industry insiders have been invited on board to put her through her paces and test everything out.
And I am absolutely thrilled to share that my name is on the guest list. ✈️🎫
I'll be swapping the familiar sights of Knaresborough for the brilliant sunshine of the Mediterranean. On the 29th of June, I’m flying out to Malaga to step on board for an exclusive, highly anticipated preview sailing.
As your dedicated travel counsellor, I will be your eyes and ears on the ground—or rather, on the deck. I'll be exploring every single deck of this magnificent vessel to bring you the ultimate first-look tour. Expect a proper deep dive into the most highly anticipated features:
The Largest Waterpark at Sea: I’ll be testing the slides, drops, and rides to see if they truly live up to the hype.

28 World-Class Dining Venues: From proper fine dining to brilliant casual bites, I’ll be sampling the menus and scoping out the best spots for a cocktail at sunset so I can give you the honest inside scoop.
The journey itself is going to be just as spectacular as the ship. After setting sail from the vibrant coast of Malaga, we will be cruising across the Mediterranean with a stop to take in the glorious sights and iconic architecture of Pisa. Our voyage will then conclude with an unforgettable arrival into the eternal city of Rome.
