Hippo, Elephant, Red Panda And Chameleon Models All To Appear Around Harrogate For Lego Trail
A series of super safari animal-themed displays are set to take over Harrogate town centre next week as the popular Lego Trail returns.
A hippo, chimpanzee, elephant, lion, zebra and red panda are just some of the magnificent models set to appear around Harrogate as a part of this year’s trail.
Each of the 12 displays will be placed in a different location – and those taking part must complete the route by scanning a QR code on each model and spelling out a mystery phrase to win a prize from the Games Crusade store on Oxford Street.
Bethany Allen, Operations and Projects Executive at Harrogate BID, said: “We can’t wait for these amazing animals to appear around our town centre for another year of the Harrogate Lego Trail.
“Every year the displays help to drive tens of thousands of people into Harrogate, with the aim of supporting the local business community by increasing both footfall and spend.
“We’d like to give a huge thank you to the team at The Crown Hotel for offering to sponsor the full Lego Trail for 2025.”
The locations that the models will feature in include The Crown, Turkish Baths, Betty’s, Victoria Shopping Centre, Everyman Cinema, Piglet in Bed, Richard Grafton Interiors, Artizan Café, Yorkshire Soap Company, Primark, Lucy Pittaway and Games Crusade.
Last year, the Lego Trail attracted more than 50,000 people into Harrogate town centre – with the trail reaching the finals in a category at the local Harrogate Mumbler awards.
Fairy Bricks, a charity that creates special Lego models for children to help them through difficult times while they are in hospital, has worked alongside the BID to design and build the displays in this year’s trail in Harrogate.
The BID hosts a series of footfall and spend increasing campaigns and events across the year with the aim of offering return on investment to the town’s business community and to create a vibrant town centre for local people and visitors.
