10th March to 9th April . York Place Resurfacing- North Yorkshire Council Highway works.

  • This work has started. Recognising the impact that the above works ( Ripon Road closure) would have on the diversion route this work is to be carried out under a closure on nights 19.00hrs to 00.00hrs.

  • This work currently has an end date of 9th April (previous communication stated 4th April), however due to unforeseen issues relating to the road construction surrounding utility apparatus there will investigation works under lane closures in place near Prince of Wales roundabout 24/7 from tomorrow (8th April) until works are carried out to resolve this. Engineers are actively working to resolve this with relevant third parties to ensure this is addressed swiftly. I will provide further updates regarding completion timescales in due course.

17th March to Early July- Victoria Avenue Active Travel Fund – North Yorkshire County Council Highway works.

6th January to end of March ( Revised end date 18th April)  - Forest Moor Road, Northern Gas Networks planned works

  • Multi way signals have now been reduced to two way this evening. They started from Mother Shipton and are then continuing to work along Starbeck High Steet towards the level crossing approx.

  •  Due to significant delays at the junction with Bogs Lane this has resulted in additional time required to complete this scheme, the target end date is 18th April.
