Harrogate Computer Shop Wins National Award For Best Shop Front

A Harrogate computer and IT business is celebrating after winning a national industry award and being recognised in a second category.

Phase 4 Computers, based in Harrogate, won Best Shop Front at the Tech For Techs Awards, which recognise businesses and individuals across the UK technology, computer repair, retail, and IT services industry.

Owner Rich Towers-Forth was also named runner-up for Tech For Techs Community Expert, recognising his contribution to the wider tech community.

Phase 4 Computers had been selected as a finalist in four categories at the national awards.

Owner Rich Towers-Forth said:

“We’re absolutely thrilled to have won Best Shop Front. We were already incredibly proud just to be nominated and then chosen as finalists, but to actually win one of the awards is amazing. There are thousands of computer shops, repair businesses, IT companies, and tech retailers across the UK, so to have Phase 4 Computers recognised nationally really does mean a lot.”

Phase 4 Computers provides a range of services for home users and businesses, including computer and laptop repairs, custom-built PCs, laptop sales, home IT support, business IT support, and managed IT services.

The Best Shop Front award recognises the work Phase 4 Computers has put into creating a professional, welcoming, and eye-catching presence in Harrogate.

Rich added:

“We’ve put a lot of work into making the shop feel approachable and welcoming. Technology can be stressful when it goes wrong, so we want customers to feel comfortable walking through the door, asking questions, and getting honest advice.

“Being named runner-up for Tech For Techs Community Expert is also a huge honour. A lot of what I do, both in the shop and online, is about helping people understand their options, sharing advice, and trying to support both customers and the wider tech community.”

The business has thanked its customers, local supporters, suppliers, friends, family, and everyone who voted during the awards process.
