Fully Funded Programme Helps Local Employers Tackle Sickness Absence and Build Inclusive Teams
Thrive at Work – Inclusive Futures is a fully funded employer support programme delivering practical leadership training to help organisations build more inclusive, supportive and high-performing workplace cultures.
Delivered by Elaine Morris, Executive Coach and Director of Curious Edge, and Lizzie Huxford, Occupational Therapist and Co-Director at OT4Me, the programme equips leaders and people managers with the skills, knowledge and confidence to support their teams more effectively, improve wellbeing and reduce sickness absence.
This project is supported by York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority, using funding from the Department for Work and Pensions’ Get Britain Working Economic Inactivity Trailblazer. Through a series of interactive workshops, participants learn how to have meaningful conversations, better understand neurodiversity, support workplace wellbeing, and create environments where people feel valued, included and able to be at their best at work.
For SMEs, the programme is delivered through shared cohorts starting in September (4 workshops, 1 every 3 weeks) in York, Harrogate and Scarborough, providing an opportunity to learn alongside other local employers. All the dates are on the webpage and booking form listed at the end of this document. For larger organisations, the programme can also be delivered in-house, allowing us to tailor the content to their workforce and organisational needs. We also provide direct intervention in the form of 1-1 coaching for those most vulnerable and at risk of going on sick leave and workplace sensory audits. All of this is fully funded – so there is no cost to the organisation!
