Easter Trail To Bring Family Fun To Harrogate Town Centre This Spring

Families are invited to join in the fun this spring as Harrogate BID launches its first Easter Trail across Harrogate town centre.

Harrogate BID has announced the Harrogate Easter Trail this spring.

Running from Saturday 28 March to Saturday 11 April, the free family-friendly event is brought to you by Harrogate BID and kindly sponsored by the Crown Hotel Harrogate, offering a range of activities for visitors during the Easter holidays.

The trail will see families exploring the town centre in search of hidden Easter eggs displayed in the windows of participating businesses. Trail sheets can be collected from the Crown Hotel, where participants will begin their Easter adventure.

Once they have located each Easter egg and collected the letters to form the secret phrase, participants can return their completed trail sheet to the Crown Hotel to receive a free Easter egg, provided in partnership with Tesco.

Alongside the trail itself, families will also be able to enjoy Easter-themed crafts, games and refreshments at The Place at the Crown Hotel, providing a central hub for the event.

Participating businesses across the town centre include Specsavers on Beulah Street, Althams Travel on Cambridge Street, the Harrogate Town Shop on Commercial Street, Starling on Oxford Street, Three’s a Crowd on West Park, Farmhouse on Station Parade, Verity Frearson on Station Parade, Wetherspoons on Parliament Street, Crema Coffee on Royal Parade and the Yorkshire Soap Company on James Street.

Bethany Allen, Operations Manager at Harrogate BID, said: “We are really excited to bring the Easter Trail to Harrogate town centre for the first time. It’s a great way for families to explore the town during the Easter holidays while visiting a range of local businesses along the way.”

Dan Siddle, General Manager of the Crown Hotel, added: “We’re delighted to support Harrogate BID with this year’s Easter Trail, building on the success of the LEGO and Halloween trails. Events like this bring a real boost in footfall across the town and, most importantly, offer families a free, fun and engaging activity during the school holidays.

“At The Place at the Crown Hotel, we’ll be joining the festivities with Easter-themed arts and crafts indoors if the weather turns, and giant Jenga along with outdoor games if we’re lucky enough to enjoy some spring sunshine. Our Head Chef, Chris Eastwood, has also been busy creating a selection of Easter-inspired treats, and we’re excited to be launching our new ice cream offering in collaboration with Northern Bloc. We can’t wait to welcome families and help make this Easter Trail one to remember.”

Trail sheets can be collected from the Crown Hotel throughout the event period. Families are encouraged to explore the town centre, spot the Easter eggs displayed in participating shop windows and complete the trail to reveal the secret phrase.

Further details about the trail and participating locations will be available on the Harrogate BID website here: https://harrogatebid.co.uk/easter-trail/
