Busy August Ahead At The Great Yorkshire Showground, Starting With Yorkshire Day At Fodder
The Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate has a full programme of events this August, opening with a Yorkshire Day celebration at Fodder on Saturday 1 August.
Running from 4pm to 8pm at Fodder, the Great Yorkshire Food Hall, the event showcases food, drink and talent from across the county. Visitors can sample produce from more than 25 Yorkshire suppliers, enjoy homemade barbecue food and a Harrogate Brewing Company bar serving locally brewed beers, and hear live music from local musicians Lewis Crossley and Hayley Gaftarnick. Fodder spritzes will be available, along with 10% off all purchases over £20 in the Shop, Deli and Butchery.
The month continues with the Harrogate Toy and Train Collectors Fair on 9 August at Pavilions of Harrogate, 10.30am to 3pm. Around 100 tables across the Calder and Derwent rooms will offer diecast models, trains, Lego, kits and more.
On 15 August, Symphonic Ibiza comes to the Showground from 5.30pm to 10.30pm, with Ibiza anthems performed by a 40-piece orchestra alongside special guests Heather Small, Rebecca Ferguson and Alison Limerick, plus Vernon Kay and the BBC Radio 2 90s Dance Anthems Live Tour.
The final weekend of the month brings two events. Mathewsons Live 2026 runs 22 and 23 August at the Showground, 9am to 5pm, combining motorsport with music, food and community across two days. The Rock, Gem and Bead Show also runs 22 and 23 August at Pavilions of Harrogate, 10am to 4pm, catering for both retail and wholesale customers with experts on hand throughout.
Beyond the public programme, Pavilions of Harrogate is available for private hire for weddings, family occasions, parties and summer barbecues. Christmas bookings are also open, with festive party nights and private celebrations catered by Kings Catering.
