Burns Night Ceilidh 2026 – A Celebration with Heart


On Saturday 31st January 2026, Harrogate will come alive with the sights, sounds, and spirit of Scotland at the Burns Night Ceilidh, held at the elegant Crown Hotel.

This special evening, organised by Colleen Gruenwald, is more than just a night of Scottish culture — it’s a chance for our community to come together, celebrate tradition, and raise vital funds for Alzheimer’s Research UK.

Guests will enjoy a true taste of Scotland, with a three-course dinner, a live ceilidh band, and a bagpiper leading the evening in authentic style. From heartfelt toasts and poetry to laughter and lively dancing, this event promises a memorable experience for all.

Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity, funding life-changing studies that bring us closer to a cure. The evening runs from 6:30pm to midnight and includes a three-course dinner, live music, and dancing led by professional ceilidh callers — no experience needed! Highland attire is encouraged but not required (kilt hire available through www.a1kilthire.co.uk).
