BID Supports New 1,000 Piece Puzzle To Promote Harrogate To Wider Audience
Harrogate BID is pleased to support a new 1,000 piece puzzle project to help promote the North Yorkshire town to a wider audience.
The new jigsaw features a picture of Harrogate’s war memorial, known as the Cenotaph, and was officially launched in the Games Crusade store in the town centre this week.
The BID was delighted partner with the local store and the UK-based ‘All Jigsaw Puzzles’ organisation for the design – with a similar project delivered in 2024 – offering hours of entertainment to people of all ages.
Bethany Allen, Operations and Projects Executive in Harrogate, said: “As the BID, we’re always keen on working alongside initiatives aimed at promoting our place to as wide an audience as possible.
“We were very happy to offer funding for a series of new photographs of Harrogate to be used for the design.
“The new puzzle really could make that perfect birthday present for a friend or loved one, so be sure to check it out!”
Harrogate BID was pleased to provide funding into this project in line with its ‘A Vibrant Town’ objective, linked to promoting the North Yorkshire town to a wider audience as suggested by BID members during the consultation for its second term.
Lisa Dyson, owner of Games Crusade, said the new jigsaw will make a great souvenir for visitors, as well as a perfect puzzle for local people.
Lisa added: “Further to the success of our previous Harrogate jigsaw, we have teamed up with All Jigsaw Puzzles to create a brand new piece.
“This time, the jigsaw has been made in Britain and is in a more eco friendly box, whilst still offering a top quality 1,000 piece puzzle of ‘Harrogate: Historic Spa Town’.
The new jigsaw is available in store at Games Crusade on Oxford Street and online on the website by clicking here.
