A whole new way to explore climate change with the ‘Climate Fresk’ game! Come play this Sunday.

Harrogate, UK – 23rd May 2025 – Local climate charity Zero Carbon Harrogate is inviting the community to take part in a hands-on, engaging Climate Fresk workshop on Sunday from 3–5pm.

The interactive session, which has already been experienced by over 1.5 million people globally, turns complex climate science into a fun and eye-opening group game.

Based on the latest IPCC reports, this Climate Fresk session will help participants connect the dots between human activity and environmental impact. It’s an accessible, empowering tool that encourages positive conversations and inspires meaningful action.

No science background is needed — just bring your curiosity,” said Sunita Soundur, Climate Action Coordinator for Zero Carbon Harrogate. “It’s a great way to learn, chat with others, and leave feeling hopeful and more confident about climate action.”

The event is run in partnership with Simon Thomas, a trained Climate Fresk facilitator, who will guide the session. Simon’s interest in running these workshops has stemmed from his passion for driving positive change within the workforce and helping local businesses with modern challenges.

The event is open to everyone and free to attend. But spots are limited so booking is essential.
