The Management Group made up of 12 – 16 prominent local business people, who work together to maintain and develop the Chamber as the voice of Harrogate Business for over 125 years. Our focus is on promoting, supporting, lobbying and educating local businesses.

The Chamber Executive consists President, Chief Executive, Vice Presidents, Honorary Treasurer with up to 10 additional Committee Members.

Members of the Management Group are elected for a term of two years.

 

Management Group Role

  • Attend quarterly Chamber Management meetings

  • Attend monthly Chamber meetings, usually the second Monday of each month

  • Host a table at the Business Safari

  • Build relationships with allocated new members as part of the Chamber Buddy Scheme

  • Assist at meetings as required; helping to set up/pack away/on the front desk

  • Take responsibility for organising a monthly meeting

  • Assist on a Management Group sub committee

  • Assist with promoting and increasing Chamber membership

  • Represent Chamber at events
