Tom Gordon MP announces Coffee Morning and Half Marathon in aid of St Michaels Hospice


Tom Gordon, the Liberal Democrat MP for Harrogate and Knaresborough, is hosting a palliative care coffee morning and participating in the Great North Run half-marathon in aid of local hospice charity St Michaels.

The latest in his Talk with Tom series,  the coffee morning will go ahead from 10am on Friday the 4th of September and offer attendees an opportunity to hear about Tom’s efforts in Westminster to increase palliative care funding and raise money for the local hospice care. provider.

The MP is continuing his fundraising efforts for St Michaels with a sponsored half marathon.

This is the fourth time Tom has taken part in the Great North Run in aid of St Michaels Hospice, having run in 2023, 2024 and 2025, raising over £1000.

He is currently in training for the run which will go ahead on the 14th of September and has set himself a fundraising target of £500.
