Time Together, Harrogate and District Chamber of Commerce President’s Charity 2025-2026

Being the President’s Charity of the Year has been a valuable and rewarding experience for Time Together. Beyond the funds donated, the partnership has helped us build meaningful relationships, raise awareness of our work, and become more connected to the wider local business community.

Throughout the year we have had the opportunity to attend networking events, meet local organisations, and share more about the support we provide for disabled and autistic people and their families.

These connections have already led to some fantastic opportunities and outcomes: through Chamber meetings we were introduced to MJ Ryder Ltd, who kindly put us forward to become the nominated charity at the Mumbler Awards, helping raise funds and raise our profile even further. We have also been delighted to recruit a member of the Chamber as a new Trustee, strengthening our board with valuable local business knowledge and connections.

A highlight of our fundraising calendar was being selected as one of the nominated charities for the Harrogate Round Table Charity Beer Festival and it was fantastic to see so many Chamber members attend, sponsor, and support the event. Together, thousands of pounds were raised for the chosen charities, showing the real power of collaboration and community partnership.

We have greatly appreciated the support and encouragement received throughout the year from both Phill and Martin, Chamber President and CEO. Businesses and charities alike are facing many challenges, so having people who genuinely champion our work, make introductions, and offer support and advice has meant a great deal. For a local charity like Time Together these relationships and connections are incredibly important. Being President’s Charity of the Year has not only helped raise funds, but has also created lasting partnerships, new opportunities, and a stronger sense of community. We are hugely grateful for the encouragement and generosity shown to us throughout the year and would like to thank everyone involved at Chamber for their ongoing support.
