Senior Associate solicitor Jonathan Exall joins McCormicks Commercial Litigation team
Jonathan Exall joins as a Senior Associate solicitor and has extensive experience handling complex, high-value disputes across a broad range of sectors.
He has acted on shareholder, contractual, professional negligence, trust, regulatory and multi-jurisdictional disputes, regularly leading matters involving significant financial and commercial interests. He often advises clients on technically demanding commercial disputes.
Partner David Birks who heads the Commercial Litigation department said: “Jonathan’s depth of experience means he is a welcome addition to our busy team at a time when our case load is increasing day-by-day.”
Jonathan has previously held positions with regional and national law firms in the UK representing businesses, trustees, fiduciaries and private individuals in proceedings before the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.
His career includes a landmark shareholder dispute heard by the UK Supreme Court, a multi-million-pound commercial settlement in the energy sector, substantial trust litigation involving assets exceeding £500 million, and complex international disputes requiring coordination with foreign counsel and regulatory advisers. He is also experienced in advocacy, regularly appearing at interim hearings and case management conferences in the County Courts.
