Welcome to Harrogate Chamber : The Harrogate Club
Step inside one of Harrogate’s best-kept secrets — a Private Members’ Club offering a relaxed and welcoming environment for both men and women.
Founded in 1857, The Harrogate Club is a vibrant social hub where members come together for conversation, connection, and community. The Club is a place to feel at home in the heart of town.
President Fiona Movley MBE, recently named Harrogate Ambassador of the Year at the Harrogate Hospitality & Tourism Awards and honoured with an MBE in the King’s Birthday Honours, supports a culture of fellowship at the heart of Club life. Housed in the historic Victoria Avenue clubhouse, members enjoy elegant rooms, flexible meeting spaces and an atmospheric snooker room that has even hosted Sir Arther Conan Doyle. It is an oasis away from the bustle - ideal for informal coworking or simply pausing between appointments.
The Club’s programme blends the convivial with the thought-provoking: Business @ Breakfast sessions, speaker lunches, a lively Wine Group, a History Group, a Book Group, and our ever-popular The Bar is Open nights.
Membership offers opportunities to widen your social network in a natural way, and the chance to contribute to a long-standing institution that has been part of Harrogate’s story for more than 165 years.
