Northern Rail – Newspaper Offer Winter 2026
Northern, in conjunction with National World and Reach PLC newspapers in the North of England, is offering a flat fare promotional offer of £12.00 per adult and £6.00 per child for one day’s travel or a Weekend Rover for £20.00 per adult and £10.00 per child, anywhere on Northern services.

To obtain, collect three Northern tokens from the paper(s) which will have the words “1 token - Collect tokens by 22nd March” printed on them. The tokens will be available from Monday 2nd March – Sunday 22nd March 2026.

To obtain, collect two tokens from the paper(s) with the words “Northern Winter Offer” printed on them. The tokens will be available from Monday 23rd February 2026 – Sunday 15th March 2026.
Customers must register, complete and print off the online application form. Customers must then take their completed application form and tokens from the paper(s) to any staffed station within the Northern network – this includes stations operated by Avanti West Coast, East Midlands Railways, LNER, Merseyrail Electrics, TransPennine Express and Transport for Wales.
No Railcard discounts allowed.
