Visit North Yorkshire is the Destination Management Organisation (DMO) for the county. Working as part of North Yorkshire Council, our role is to position North Yorkshire as a must-visit destination, encouraging longer stays and higher spend across the region.

The places that make up North Yorkshire, from Harrogate to Scarborough and our many market towns and villages, are what make the destination so special, and we are proud to shout about them through our activity.

This includes marketing campaigns such as “Christmas in North Yorkshire,” which shines a spotlight on partner attractions with festive offers, as well as the many wonderful events happening in our town centres, such as the Harrogate Christmas Fayre. We ensure visitors have all the information they need to inspire their festive trips, encouraging them to choose North Yorkshire as their Christmas destination.
