  • Adding tactile paving to side roads

  • a new bus stop located outside the United Reformed Church and upgrading the paving between West Park and Princess Square

  • Improvements to existing paving where issues have been identified

  • Replacing paving across accesses to indicate pedestrian priority

  • New decorative footway lighting

  • New bins and benches to match the future Station Gateway scheme

  • Relocated ticket machines to suit new layout

  • Layout improvements to help prevent vehicles from making the illegal straight-ahead movement from Beech Grove to Victoria Avenue

Works are progressing well and in accordance with the accepted programme. Works at the junction of Station Parade and Victoria Avenue will be completed at the end of this month.
