New Chamber Member : Howden Insurance
A very warm welcome to Howden Insurance who have recently joined the Chamber and they are a nationwide brand with a strong local presence, based on Princes Square.
Howden were previously known as A1 Insurance and carry on A1’s aim of becoming a key part of the local business and charitable community.
Grace Brooke is a Commercial Account Executive at Howden Insurance and has been with the company since January 2025. With a strong background in sales and customer-focused roles, Grace previously worked as a retail sales account manager, working closely with SMEs daily. Howden’s deliver tailor-made insurance solutions and Grace specialises in a wide range of products, including professional indemnity, public and product liability, legal expenses, business interruption, employee liability, directors’ and officers’ insurance and much more.

My growing knowledge in risk management and insurance solutions allows me to guide clients through the complexities of insurance, ensuring you have the most appropriate protection in place.
My passion for the insurance industry is quickly growing and it is driving me to stay informed about the latest trends and developments, enabling me to offer valuable insights to my clients. I believe in building strong relationships based on trust and transparency, which I hope will help me establish a loyal client base.
Outside of work, I am a makeup artist; I have a client base in Harrogate and surrounding towns, stretching over to Thirsk. I enjoy spending time with friends, supporting local businesses and engaging with the local community in positive ways. I am dedicated to fostering a supportive environment for businesses and believe that a strong network is essential for success.”
