Henshaws Festive Showcase Returns to Ripon Cathedral This November

Henshaws is proud to announce the return of its much-loved Festive Showcase, taking place at Ripon Cathedral on Monday 24th November 2025, with doors opening at 6:45pm.

This heartwarming evening of music and celebration brings together community, creativity, and compassion in support of people living with sight loss and other disabilities across the North.

The event features an inspiring lineup of performers, including Dave Steele – The Blind Poet, an award-winning poet and Henshaws Patron whose powerful work transforms his journey with sight loss into moving poetry, film, and children’s literature. Joining him are Leo Hicks, a soulful singer-musician, and the Henshaws Arts & Crafts Centre Choir, whose uplifting performances incorporate Makaton to promote inclusion and creativity.

Also performing are the feel-good Harrogate Spa Town Ukes, delivering sing-along festive classics, and the vibrant Yorkshire Voices, an inclusive community choir sharing seasonal songs with rich harmonies and joy.

Tickets are now available at henshaws.org.uk or by calling 0300 222 5555. Prices range from £10–£15 for adults, £7–£11 for concessions, and £25–£35 for families (2 adults + 2 children). Guides and carers attend free, and early bird pricing ends 24th October.

All proceeds support Henshaws’ mission to empower people with visual impairments and disabilities to go beyond expectations. The event is proudly sponsored by Ison Harrison Solicitors and registered with the Fundraising Regulator.

Join us for an unforgettable evening of festive cheer, music, and community spirit.
