Harrogate BID Makers Market To Continue After Strong Start In The Summer Months

Harrogate BID is excited to announce that the monthly ‘Makers Market’, which began in June this year, will be extended until the end of the year.

Harrogate BID have been delighted to bring this new event to the town to increase footfall and spend on a typically quieter day.

After receiving an abundance of positive feedback from both market traders and businesses, we are thrilled for the event to return and to be working with local market provider, Real Markets.

Bethany Allen, Operations Manager at Harrogate BID, said: “We were thrilled to bring the Makers Market to Harrogate in June and after seeing its success, we just knew it had to carry on.”

“We’d like thank all the traders who have taken part and contributed to the success, as well as the unwavering support from local businesses.”

“We are excited to see the event develop over the Autumn and Winter months and hopefully grow it into 2026.”

Lucy Allen, of Real Markets, said: “Harrogate Makers Market is a wonderful collection of local makers and creators and their incredible talents.”

“There is something special about being able to meet and talk to the person who created the product you are buying, even more so if it’s for a Christmas gift!”

We’re thrilled that this market is so well supported by Harrogate and visitors to the town – it has quickly become a firm favourite with our traders and customers alike.”

The Makers Market will take place every third Sunday of the month from 10am – 4pm on Cambridge Street, starting on 19th October. The next events are planned for Sunday 16th November and then Sunday 21st December.
