Going for Gold: Harrogate Floral Summer of Celebration returns for 2026
Harrogate BID is delighted to announce the return of its popular Floral Summer of Celebration, bringing a series of spectacular floral displays to the town centre this summer.
The much-loved floral trail will return from Friday 3rd July 2026, running for three weeks and celebrating both Harrogate’s famous floral heritage and the 60th anniversary of Harrogate International Festivals.
Delivered in partnership with Harrogate International Festivals and sponsored by Harrogate District Chamber of Commerce, this year’s trail will see unique displays installed across key town centre locations, creating colourful attractions for residents and visitors to enjoy while encouraging people to explore Harrogate’s shops, restaurants, cafés and businesses.
The Floral Summer of Celebration has become a highlight in Harrogate BID’s annual events calendar, helping to drive footfall, support the local economy and celebrate the town’s renowned floral heritage.
The BID team will once again be setting their sights on Gold, with the 2026 Floral Summer of Celebration set to be entered into this year’s Yorkshire in Bloom awards.
The trail has enjoyed continued success in recent years, with Harrogate BID achieving Gold recognition for the Floral Summer of Celebration and previously securing a triple victory at the Yorkshire in Bloom awards.
Judges have praised the trail for bringing a “friendly, unique” feel to the town centre, highlighting the support of local businesses and strong collaboration between Harrogate BID, Harrogate in Bloom, North Yorkshire Council and other floral partners.
The BID team will be hoping to continue building on this success in 2026, further enhancing Harrogate’s reputation as a leading floral destination.
