Fresh Air and Open Conversation: Step Out Netwalking Returns in November
Following the successful launch of "Step Out" in partnership with member business Artus Digital, HDCC is pleased to confirm the date and booking details for the next monthly netwalk on Friday 13th November.
The initiative was created to give local business owners, leaders and professionals a healthy, low-pressure alternative to traditional indoor networking. Attendees take a gentle one-hour walk through the paths of Valley Gardens and the Pinewoods, making connections while taking in scenic views and fresh air.
The first walk drew strong praise from participants, who welcomed the opportunity to build genuine relationships in an unhurried, informal environment. As one attendee reflected after the walk:
"It was a great way to spend an hour. The walk was the first chance I've had to have a proper chat with somebody I've known for ages."
That relaxed dynamic is exactly what Step Out is designed for - making new connections and catching up with long-term contacts in a relaxed, agenda-free forum.
The next walk takes place on the morning of Friday 13th November. Attendees will meet at the bottom entrance of Valley Gardens between 8.45am and 9am, departing at 9.05am and looping back to the starting point by 10am.
The event is completely free to attend and open to the entire Harrogate business community. Chamber membership is not required, making this an ideal introduction for anyone looking to expand their local network in a friendly, relaxed setting. The walk will go ahead in all weathers, so attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring waterproofs.
