Digital Transformation Delivers Results for North Yorkshire Emergency Services
A major digital transformation programme connecting North Yorkshire’s police and fire stations to a secure, high-capacity fibre network is continuing to deliver operational benefits more than a year after completion.

Delivered by Harrogate-based technology provider nynet, the project connected every police and fire station across North Yorkshire to a resilient fibre network shared with other public sector organisations, including North Yorkshire Council, hospitals, GP surgeries and schools.
While the successful delivery of the network marked a significant milestone, both organisations say the real success has been the partnership that has developed since go-live, ensuring the infrastructure continues to deliver reliability, resilience and responsive support as operational needs evolve.
