BID Team Attend Spring Flower Show To Promote Harrogate’s Offer, Events And Campaigns To Wider Audience
The Harrogate BID team are delighted to be in attendance at the Spring Flower Show this week to promote the town’s fantastic business community, events and targeted campaigns to a wider audience.
The show attracts thousands of visitors to the town every year, so the BID team see this as an excellent opportunity to not only shout about Harrogate’s offer, but highlight some of their events and campaigns coming up over the next few months.
Matthew Chapman, Chief Executive at Harrogate BID, said: “We’re so pleased to have the chance to showcase our town to so many people during the Spring Flower Show every year. If you spot our stand, make sure you come along and say hello!
“We’re always looking to highlight our town as a floral destination and enhance our renowned heritage – and this show is one of the main contributing factors to doing just that.
“I’d like to personally thank Nick Smith of the Harrogate Flower Shows and members of the Harrogate in Bloom group for their ongoing support and partnership work.”
Last year, the partnership between the BID, Flower Shows and Harrogate in Bloom took home three Gold prizes at the Yorkshire in Bloom awards – with the judges describing the horticultural standards in the North Yorkshire town as “outstanding”.
The groups involved in the partnership have also set their sights on achieving yet another prize at the Britain in Bloom awards, set to be held later this year.
As well as promoting Harrogate as a must visit destination, the BID team is also taking the opportunity to shout about some of their upcoming events including the Harrogate Celebration of Fashion in May, the Floral Summer of Celebration in July and the Lego Trail in August.
The Business Improvement District delivers the Floral Summer of Celebration event on an annual basis, featuring a floral trail with a new theme every year. Last year’s ‘Friendship’ theme brought a friendly, unique feel into the town centre with displays including a floral family, friendship arches of bloom, a botanical garden and a heart of flowers.
Further details on 2025’s floral celebration are set to be revealed over the coming months.
