BID Hosts ‘Lifetime Of Harrogate’ Campaign To Showcase Jewel In Yorkshire’s Crown To Wider Audience

Harrogate BID has funded a series of impactful wider promotional campaigns featuring new branding for key town centre locations, a series of videos, guide maps and themed postcards.

The new ‘Lifetime of Harrogate’ campaign has been fully funded by the BID team in the town.

The ‘Lifetime of Harrogate’ project, fully funded and delivered by the Business Improvement District (BID), was launched to showcase the North Yorkshire town as a must-visit destination, drawing in new visitors and enhancing its renowned heritage.

The series of videos, highlighting Harrogate’s historcial spa heritage, the town’s beautiful parks and gardens, the super shopping culture and culinary excellence, have so far gathered tens of thousands of views across different platforms reaching a vast amount of unique users, with only three out of six published on social media channels so far.

The new guide maps showing the town split into four key quarters – Central, Montpellier, King’s Road and Victoria Park and West Park – have also now been released and are available for use.

The Central quarter features a bustling hub offering a variety of experiences, from shopping and retail to theatre and culture. Montpellier quarter embodies luxury and tradition blended with a modern, vibrant feel offering a high-end cosmopolitan experience.

The King’s Road quarter brings a unique, edgy vibe to Harrogate with a cool, quirky atmosphere, while Victoria Park and West Park is the centre of high-end hospitality in the town with a luxury leisure experience.

Meanwhile, the themed postcards have been designed to paint a classy, charming picture of Harrogate with the chance for both local residents and visitors to share these with people across the country and even overseas.

Matthew Chapman, Chief Executive at Harrogate BID, said:

“We’re so pleased to see the fantastic reception that this project has received so far, with more still to be released!

“Our town is renowned as the jewel in Yorkshire’s crown and we’re keen to share this with as wide an audience as possible, so campaigns such as this are key to our success.

“Watch this space for further launches over the coming months…”

The BID team are confident that this campaign will help to not only rekindle local pride and promote Harrogate as a special destination, but also celebrate both tradition and heritage.
