Berwins Invests In New Head Of Corporate And Commercial


Berwins Solicitors has appointed a new head of its corporate and commercial division. 

Strategic hire, Thato Mashishi will spearhead the unit’s growth as part of ongoing investment at Berwins.

An experienced lawyer, who joins from one of the country’s leading law firms, Thato brings with him extensive experience, having worked with both SME businesses and household name brands.  

“Thato’s appointment comes at an important time for Berwins” commented Managing Director, Danielle Day. 

“This year marks not only the firm’s 40th anniversary, but also the start of a new chapter in the Berwins story. The investment is set to unlock significant growth plans, and the appointment of a lawyer of Thato’s calibre and experience to lead our commercial arm is an important part of that.” 

Thato, a native of South Africa, has particular expertise in corporate law, specifically in mergers and acquisitions, including those with international and complex financial elements.
