Artizan International Seeks New Trustees To Help Shape Its Next Chapter
Harrogate charity Artizan International is inviting people with skills in charity governance, marketing and retail, or premises management to join its board of trustees.
Artizan believes in a world where people with disabilities are empowered to reach their full potential. Through its social enterprises, the charity offers meaningful training and work, from serving customers and making coffee to crafting products for sale. As that work grows, Artizan is strengthening its board so the right expertise is in place for the years ahead.
The charity would like to hear from people with experience in one or more of three areas.
Charity experience: Artizan is looking for trustees who have worked on strategy in medium-sized charities and can help strengthen its governance and shape its future direction.
Marketing and retail: The charity wants expertise to strengthen its public presence, improve the customer experience and support the growth of its social enterprises.
Premises and facilities: Artizan needs people who have managed premises, facilities or refurbishments, to help make sure its spaces meet health and safety, fire safety and operational standards.
Being a trustee is a chance to use professional skills to make a lasting difference locally, working alongside a team whose enterprises are already part of daily life for many people.
