In September 2019, The Harrogate District district welcomed hundreds of competitors and thousands of visitors for the UCI Road World Championships. It was cycling's equivalent of football's World Cup.
Cyclists from 67 nations took part in a nine-day schedule of races with each one finishing in Harrogate town centre.
The event was organised by Yorkshire 2019, a company set up to run the championships with the backing of British Cycling, UK Sport and the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.
Harrogate Borough Council and North Yorkshire County Council supported the smooth running of the event.
HBC's Overview and Scrutiny Commission is made of councillors from across the political spectrum. They can look at what the council does on behalf of local people and as part of this review, they'd like to know what you thought about the championships.
It has set up two surveys, one if you are a local resident or the seccond for those who run a business or organisation in the district.
This consultation will close on 16 June 2021.
