Ways to contact Barclays Bank

22 Apr 2020 by Barclays

Dear All

I know this is a worrying time for many of our customers so I wanted to let you know that I’m here to help you manage your finances as the Coronavirus situation continues to evolve.

There are also some useful online resources that might help answer some of the key questions that are on your mind right now.

It’s easy to bank without leaving your home

The Barclays app and Online Banking are available 24/7 and they offer everyday banking like making payments, checking your balance and viewing transactions. You can even pay in a cheque using our app, with no need to visit a branch. Find out how to register for the app, then use our videos to learn how to use each feature.

Please don’t visit a branch unless you have an urgent financial need that can’t be managed online or by phone. Some of our branches are closed and others have reduced opening hours – our branch finder has the latest information.

We’d advise against using cash at the moment – try to use your contactless debit card where possible. But if you have to use a cash machine, read our FAQs about staying safe.

You can also apply to open current and savings accounts quickly and easily online.

Mortgage Payments

If you’re concerned about any aspect of your residential or buy-to-let mortgage because of the continuing coronavirus situation, we can help. You might be eligible for either a repayment holiday of up to 90 days or to move to an interest-only payment for up to 12 months.

Barclayloan

If your income has been affected by the coronavirus outbreak, you can apply for a 3-month break from making your loan repayments. The online form is the quickest and easiest way to apply but please read about how it works before you apply.

Barclaycard

We won’t charge late payment or cash advance fees for the next 90 days, and you might be able to increase your credit limit to help you in an emergency.

If your income has been affected by coronavirus then you may be entitled to a Barclaycard payment holiday. This means that you won’t need to make your usual payments for up to three months and your credit score won’t be affected. We’ll have an online application form ready as soon as we can, and we’ll tell you everything you need to know about it right here so you don’t need to call us.
