Still unsure about the ins and outs of the EU referendum from a business perspective?

You can hear the views of senior business people speaking for and against the EU in a debate being held by Harrogate District Chamber of Commerce on Monday, June 13.

The debate will be chaired by Harrogate-based journalist Tim Cook and will discuss the arguments from the point of view of the economy and business.

The chamber's vice president Steve Pepper, who has organised the meeting, said: "There still seems to be a lot of people sitting on the fence over the EU issue. Hopefully this will give them a chance to work out which side they're on."

Professor Malcolm Sawyer, from Leeds University, will give a short presentation on the economic factors behind the IN/OUT decision before the debate begins. Then the speakers on each side will be:

Carl Chambers - Chairman of the Yorkshire & Humberside Region Business for Britain
David Simister - Different PR and UKIP county councillor

Richard Corbett - Labour MEP for Yorkshire and Humber
Ben Pindar - Northern Lights PR
